healing in today’s world!

So, I’m thinking about healing tonight…hoping with prayerful intent…

This came across my eyes today from the Moltmann group:

“Jesus made God’s kingdom his own concern by healing the sick. That is true, but it is only half the truth. For because men and women who were sick came to him, Jesus himself experienced what the kingdom of God is too. He did not have the divine power of healing at his own disposal.  In certain relationships there were healings–in others nothing happened at all. . . . [In the case of the woman with the issue of blood] He experiences the healing power which goes from him without his will, and learns to know this healing power through the faith of the sick woman. He grows from the expectations of the sick and in this
atmosphere learns what the kingdom of God in its reality is.” (15)
